Personalised Care, Tailored To Your Loved Ones' Needs

Support at Home Program That Honours Diverse Backgrounds and Cultures

At Cura Aged Care, we understand that care is deeply personal

It’s about each individual’s unique journey, culture, and aspirations. We know how important it is for seniors to feel valued, understood, and supported in the comfort of their own homes. Our Support at Home program is thoughtfully crafted to go beyond meeting daily needs. We are here to ease your worries, celebrate your loved one’s individuality, and bring peace of mind to families, knowing that every detail is handled with compassion and understanding.

What is the Support at Home program?

Support at Home is a government-subsidised program that helps older Australians live independently in their homes. The different funding levels of support provide personalised services to assist with daily activities such as cleaning, cooking, personal care, nursing and transportation.

What makes these funding levels special is their flexibility. They’re tailored to individual needs, allowing people to choose the services that suit their loved ones’ lifestyles and preferences. Whether they need extra help around the house or more comprehensive care, they can adapt as needs change, all while prioritising comfort, dignity, and independence.

Is your loved one eligible, and how can you apply for Support at Home?

If you’re considering aged care options for your loved one, the first step is determining their eligibility for the Support at Home program. First, you must enrol in the My Aged Care government program. If you need help getting started, please contact us. The Aged Care Assessor will evaluate your loved one’s needs, including their age and level of care required to determine the most appropriate support services.

We forge close partnerships with clients and their families to craft customised support plans that address specific requirements and personal aspirations. Our holistic approach revolves around fostering independence, choice, and inclusivity.

Furthermore, we go the extra mile to understand and embrace the unique needs and cultural diversity of our clients. Our caring staff members are fluent in over 65 languages, ensuring that we can help individuals from all walks of life. At its core, our mission is to not only create but to enhance inclusive and diverse communities, where every individual is empowered to thrive.

Cura Aged Care provides a wide range of in-home aged care services to support independence and enhance quality of life. These include personal care (assistance with tasks like showering, dressing, and grooming), domestic assistance (help with cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation), and respite care (temporary care to support family caregivers).

We also offer social support for community participation and companionship, transport services for appointments and errands, and specialised care tailored to individual needs, including Dementia care. Additionally, Cura helps families navigate and access government-funded Support at Home program to ensure the right level of support is provided.
